ej1155Today was our first critical pricing day. Samantha my wife turned everything off and I think she’s turning everything back on now. So far so good.
She also had an AP reporter stop buy today, conincidently, who is doing a story on the PEPPCO/Office of the People’s Councel’s program.

I like that you get the peaks day and time alert in advance so that you can turn off the necessary electrical appliance or air conditions/central air unit.
Still getting the hang of the new SmartStat Programmable Thermostat, and I have never seen the green light, actually light up. I had to make the adjustment to the thermostat as an overide. However, we have made the switch to all compact fluorescent blubs.
